We have received a copy of your application dated Novemb'er 1,1979 which you filed with the Office of Huclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review and approval.
The application requested extension of the surveillance interval for the Reactor Vessel Internal Vent Valves (T.S. 4.16.1) of the Three flile Island Nuclear Station Unit No.1.
Your application was not accompanied by the amendment / approval fee required by 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of their preliminary rev'ew of your applicatica, it has been determined that the requested action requires a Class III amendment fee of $4,000 because it involves consideration of a single safety issue.
It is requested that the Class III fee be forwarded to this office.
If the final evaluation of your application by the ONRR staff reveals the this fee is incorrect, your Company will be refunded any overpayment or billed for any additional amount due.
