Dear Mr. Seyfrit:
In response to IE Bulletin No. 79-23, we offer the following:
1.
The CPSES Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG's) have the generator grounded through c 25KVA neutral grounding transformer with 2.2 ohms of resistance connected in the secondary.
The metering and control transformer consists of two sets of potential transformers each connected open delta on the primary, not grcunded.
The regulation transformer consists of three transformers connected ungrounded wye.
With the above described connection, the CPSES installation will not have a problem with circulating currents between the generator ground and the potential transformers and regulating transformers.
2.
The full load operation test of the EDG's shall be performed in accordance with section 14, table 14-2-2 (sheet 34 of 60) of the FSAR.
These tests shall be completed prior to fuel load.
