Subject:

TRUCK DRIVER ARRESTED BY STATE POLICE FOR CARRYING REVOLVER WITHOUT PERMIT On August 22, 1979 at 8:30 a.m., a truck driver operating a tracter-trailer reportec to the Haddam Neck Plant tc pick-up some low level waste.

Tne truck criver informed the Security Organization that he was carrying a Colt.22 caliser rcvelver and 3 rounds of ammo in his tractor for self protection over the road.

He requested that the licensee security crganization temporarily acceDt'custcdy of the revolver while he wes on site picking us the material to be ship;ed.

The security organization accepted custody cf tne revoiver anc 3 "cunds cf armo and notified licensee management.

The criver did not have a cer-it 10 carry the weapon in his pcssession and the Cornecticut State Pclice

The State Police resconded to the site at 1C:C0 a.r.
