TRANSMITTAL OF DRAFT REGULATORY-GUIDE ON DEWATERING SYSTEMS During our meeting of July 18, 1979 members of your staff announced the addition of a permanent site dewatering system at the site for Midland Plant, Units 1 & 2 and stated that design basis to comply with the intent of the draft Standard Review Plan on Dewatering would be addressed in subsequent 50.55(e) reports on backfit settlement.
For your further information and guidance, enclosed is $ copy of a draft regulatory guide and value/ impact statement entitled, " Safety-Related Permanent Dewatering Systems for Nuclear Power Plants," September 1979, which has been issued for comment.
