Docket No. 50-289 License No. DPR-50 Inspection No. 77-3h i
t Response to Antarent Violation Deficiency Technical Specifications 6.8.1 and 6.11, require adherence to procedures, and Healtli Physics Procedure 1622, " Releasing Radioactive Gas Waste", Sections 5.h7 - 5.69, requires the calculation of the quantity released in each Reactor i
Building Purge en Form 1622-5, " Total Noble Gas and Tritium Concentrations During Reactor Building Purges".
Contray to this requirement, no entries were made on any form 1622-5 during the period July 1 - December 31, 1976, although there were fifteen or more Reactor Building Purges during the period.
I 3esconse to Deficiency j
I The quantity of radioactive gaseous vaste released by reactor building purges during the period July 1 - December 31, 1976, was calculated and recorded on f3Q Form 1622-3 in accordance with HP Procedure 1622. Although the specific quantities of each isotope of radioactive gaseous vaste released due to priman system leakage into the reactor building during the reactor building purges were not recorded on Form 1622-5, data is available from the on-line radiation monitor and recorder to calculate the total quantities released.
To ensure that the quantity of radioactive gaseous vaste released due to primary system leakage into the reactor building during reactor building purges is recorded in accordance with EP Procedure 1622, all 1622-5 forms shall be forvarded directly to a Radiation Protection supervisor for review for completeness.
Full compliance was achieved on November 11, 1977.
