K. 7. Seyfrit Dacription of Item Requirin::; Rasolution:

Luring the su=cer months reactor building internal tenpcratures in exccas of the 110*F sustained temperature assunad in the FSAR have been experienced. Average cair.perature s in creess of 130*7 nave been experienced above elevation 320 f act and 110*F-120*? below elevation 320 feet on days wnen wet bulb temperature has been greater than approxi=ately 75'F.

The licensee nas identified two areas of ecucern with regard to these increased ter.iperatures; the components vitnin the reactor builcine ena the reactor building structural integrity. Based on thcee concerns, the licensee has indicated that analyscs snow that tne probabilitj and cocaequeaces of an 4ccident have no t been increased and tr.a possibility of an accident not previously analyzed has not been created.

iis believe this situation may also affect the accident analysis an calculated peak pressures for ccatainment, thus indicating a accd for a different containment leakase rate test prcccurc. The licensce',

tecnnical specifications do not nave an operating linit on containncat tenperature.

Reco::::endations and Proposed Course of Action:

1.

The Division of Enactor Licensing will review hatropolitan L11sou's analyses and determina if an unreviewed safety questien exists.

2.

The Division of Reactor Licensing will decar: cine if asc1tions to tha Technical Specifications are required.
