To permit the licensee to verify adherence to the temperature and pressure li=itations stated in the technical specifications, continuous records of these parar.cters are needed., II Eulletin No. 75-03, requested infornation on reactor coolant system (ACS) temperature and pressure instrucentation. Enclosure 2 includes responses to II:. rulletin No. 75-08, and a cunnary of these responses is provided as Enclosurc 3.
As indicated in these responses, several facilities do not have continuous vide ran;c recording of PCS te:apcrature and prescure. This infon ation is vital for evaluation of usage factors resulting, from unanticipated transients which occur when the systen is solid and in the lover or intermediate prensure range (0-150u psi). Enclosures 4, 5 and 6 are examples of such transients.
