LIGHTNING STRIKE The on-site RIV inspector reported that at ap*>roximately 1:00 p.m. on August 9,1979, lightning st' ruck a construct on electrical panel in the i
area of the Unit No.1 Containment Building There was no damage to other ecuipment or structures.
Aparoximately forty people reported receiving some shock.
Two people were sent to the 1ccal hospital for observation but their condition was observed nct to be serious.
One complained of muscular pains.
The on-site IE inspector reported this matter by telephone to Region IV at acproximately 3:00 p.m. on August 9, 1979.
