SURVEY OF USES OF WASH-1400 - MR. GOSSICK'S REQUEST OF DECEMBER 20 In response to Mr. Gossick's memorandum of December 20, all members of RES staff were requested to consider the issues raised, and to comment as they felt it appropriate on the subject of the use of WASH-1400 or of quantitative risk assessment methodology.
As a response to my all-hands memo (attached), the following were received, and are being sent to you as requested by Mr. Gossick:
1.
Memo from D. L. Basdekas to me, dated December 26.
Mr. Basdekas requested that his memo be transmitted directly to the Commission in an expedited manner, and I did this o, December 27.
2.
Memo from G. L. Bennett to me, dated December 27.
As of January 2, there have been no other replies received by me from RES staff.
I have distributed Mr. Gossick's later memo, extending the suspense on this item to January 9, at which time I will send you any additional comments received.
