Material Control and Accountability Section Safeguards Branch Inspection Summary Inspection on November 1-3, 1978 (Report No. 70-1151/78-13)
Areas Inspected:
Routine, unannounced inspection of previously identified items of noncompliance, measurements and independent inspection effort.
The inspection involved 40 inspector-hours on-site by two NRC inspectors.
Results: Of the three areas inspected, two previously identified items items of of noncompliance were closed in one area and two new apparent noncompliance were identified in one of the othe~r two areas (deficiencies -
failure to adhere to the written procedure for determining holdup in process equipment (78-13-01); failure to follow the FhtC plan for sampling U0 powder (78-13-02)).
