McGuire Nuclear Station 50-369 and 50-370 Environmental Qualification of Class 1E' Equipment
Dear Mr. Denton:
Mr. R. L. Baer's letter of October 15, 1979, requested that Duke Power Company develop a schedule for providing additional information concerning the environmental qualification of Class 1E equipment.
It is our intent to provide this information in three separate submittals. The breakdown of the Class 1E equipment to be addressed in each submittal and the schedule for providing this information is given below.
1.
Equipment inside containment December 17, 1979 2.
Equipment outside containment exposed to a high energy line break accident January 17, 1980 3.
Equipment outside containment not exposed to a high energy line break accident April 14, 1980 It should be noted that meeting this schedule is contingent upon the satis-factory resolution of some outstanding questions regarding the qualification of equipment supplied by Westinghouse.
