The licensee fer Oyster Creek is required to include and has included a Radiaticn Emergenc.v Plan in the O.vs*er Creek Facility Descripticn and Safety Analysis Recert (Volume V, Amencment li,Section VI!!).

As required in 10 CFR Part 50, Accencix E, Sectics IV, these plans contain the means to nctify, in the event of an erergency-(1) Persons assigned to the,.icensee,s emergency crganiza:1cn and (;-) ar;ropriate State and Federal agencies ei n responsibilities 'cr cocing with emergencies. An emergency cal] list is maintained at all times in the Cyster Creek Station Centroi Room which has the names and telephone

numbers of all statien and company management personnel, Federal agencies, State agencies, hoscitais, dec:crs, anc censultants that may require notification in the event of an emergency.

The Office of Nuclear Reactor :,egulation's Division cf Operating Reactors currently has uncer way a vigcrcus program to im;reve emergency planning a c;erating facilities. The ccal of this program is to ensure the early warning c.' the ;ublic if an emergency arises and will be achieved through the immediate alerting cf local and state authorities by the licensee, di-rectly on the basis of observable informatien in the reactor centrol room.
