We have received a copy of your application dated September 28, 1979, which you filed with the Office of Muclear Reactor Reculaticn (ONRR) for review and approval. The application proposed Technical Specifications relating to the Big Rock Point Plant reactor vessel water level. You determined that the application was exempt from the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170.22 because you were voluntarily proposing the changes in lieu of the Nuclear Regulatory Commissicn (NRC) imposing these requirements by order pursuant to 10 CFR 2.204.
Since plant specific reviews are required and the reviews involve consid-eration of a single safety issue, which resulted from a May 2,1979 event at Oyster Creek, all licensees of plants with potential similar problems are required to pay a Class III fee of $4,000 for the license amendment.
The Class III fee for Big Rock should be submitted to thisioffice promptly.
t If the final review of your application by tne ONRR staff reveals that the fee cit'ed above is incorrect, you will be refunded any overpayment or billed for any additional amount due.
