APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION United Nuclear Corporation Docket No.70-371 Naval Products Division This refers to the inspection conducted'by representatives of the Region I (Philadelphia) office at the United Nuclear Corporation, Naval Products Divisica facility, Uncasville, Connecticut, of activities authorized by NRC License No. SNM-368.
During this inspection conducted on April 16-20 and 24-26, 1979, the following apparent item of noncompliance was identified.
10 CFR 70.54 specifies, in part, that each licensoc who transfers and each licensee who receives special nuclear material shall complete and distribute Nuclear Material Transaction Report on Form NRC-741, in a::cordance with printed instructions for completing the form. The printed instructions require that block 20 D, which shows the receiver's measurement month, day and year, be completed.
Contrary to the above, on April 25, 1979, the inspector determined that block 20 D was not completed to show month, day and year for Form NRC-741 receipt documents KAS-KDS 27 and 28.
This is a deficiency.
