Vogtle Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos.1 and 2.
A copy of the notice that the Commission is filing with the Office of the Federal Register is also enclosed.

Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2 and reconsideration of the need for power from the facility. 00-79-4, 9 NRC (1979).M GANE's May 1st petition has also been treated as a request for action under 10 CFR 2,206. N6tice of receipt of GANE's May 1st petition was published in the Federal Register, 44 Fed. Reg. 33985 (June 13,1979).
GANE asserts three bases for its renewed request to suspend construction of the Vogtle units pending additional hearings to determine the need for the plants:
