Dear Mr. Felton:
Docket numbers 50-498 and 50-499 are proceedings before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board regarding the operating license for the South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2.
In these proceedings, there are two intervenors - Citizens for Equitable Utilities based in Brazoria, Texas and Citizens Concerned About Nuclear Power, Inc. based in San Antonio, Texas.
Presently, there are public document rooms in Bay City, Texas where the plant is under construction; Houston, Tex as ; and Washington, D.C.. I understand there are plans to create such a depository in Austin, Texas.
I am writing to request a public document room :be created in San Antonio, Texas. Since San Antonio is the base for one of the two intervenors, its seems only logical that San Antonio be the site for such a depository.
