Dear Mr. Meiss:
On July 24, 1979, you sent to the parties PG&E's list of privileged documents for the so-called "CID documer.ts," and on August 15, 1979, you sent the parties the first volume of PG&E's list of privileged documents for part of the so-called " green-dotted production." Counsel for the Staff, DWR, and Cities met recently concerning these priviley claims. We noted that they were never submitted to the Board. As a first step in the resolution of any differences which may exist among the parties regarding these claims of privilege, we would appreciate PCJE's filing of these claims with the Licensing Board as soon as possible. After you do so, the Staff and Intervenors can make our position (s) known. We would then hope to meet with PG&E to attempt to resolve any differences in such a way as to minimize, if possible, the Board's involvement.
We are looking forward to the prompt filing of your privilege claims and the beginning of negotiations concerning them. Thank you for your cooperation.
