JMcGough In your correspondence of September 10, 1975 you advised us of your determination that the fire protection system installed at the Three Mile Island Unit 1 Air Intake Tunnel was not consistent with the system specified in the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).
In your correspondence of November 3,1975 you forwarded an analysis that indicated that the installad system was adequate, and further proposed changes to Technical Specification Bases wording to make the bases consistent with the installed system.
j We have reviewed your submittal and agree with your conclusions regarding the adequacy of the installed system. A copy of our Safety Evaluation is enclosed. The bases for Technical Specifications appended to License No. DPR-50 are changed by revising bases paragraph Section 5.5 to read as set forth in the enclosed revised pages 5-8 and 5-9.
