SUBJECT:
SUMMARY
OF SEPTEMBER 6,1979 MEETING TO DISCUSS THE OPERATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN FOR OYSTER CREEK NRC and JCP&LCo representatives met in Bethesda, Maryland, on Septenber 6, 1979, to discuss the status of the Quality Assurance Plan for Oyster Creek.
The meeting attendees are listed in Attachnent 1.
JCP&LCo requested the meeting to present their understanding of the stoff's request for additional information and staff positions dated August 14, 1979.
JCP&LCo also explained their computerized vender qualification program which is used for procurement of material and services.
JCP&LCo informed the staff that a revision to the QA Plan was about complete and would be sutraitted shortly. The revision would reflect the new organization that was approved by Technical Specification changes and would also address a few of the questions and concerns raised by the staff's August 14, 1979 request., The renainder of the staff's concerns and questions would be responded to at a later, time.
