on December 27 and 28,1973 at Three Mile Island 1 of activities
authorized by AEC License No. CPPR-40 and to the discussions of
our findings held by Mr. Meyer with Mr. Herbein and other members
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas evenined during this inspection are described in the Regulatory

Operations Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.
