This refers to the inspection conducted by Dr. Callina of this
office on February 25-27 and March 7,1974 ct the %rce ?!ile
Island Nucicar Station of activities authorized *oy AEC License
No. CPPR-40 and to the discussions of our findings held by Dr.
Callina with Mr. J. G. Herbein, other Het Ed personnel and
representatives of GPUSC on February 27 at the conclusion of
the inspection at the site and to a subsequent telephone discussion

between Mr. E. J. Brunner (RO:I) and Mr. Herbein on February 23,
1974. nis letter also refers to the <'iscussions held by Dr.
Gallina uith Messrs. Ecrbein, Colitz, Baer and Jenchs at the
conclusion of the energency training exercise conducted on March 7,
1974.

ments with offsite agencies. Uithin these areas, the inspection
consisted of'a complete escuination of procedures and representative
records, interviews with plant personnel' and personnel of off-site
agencies and the cheervation by the inspector of an emergency training
exercise.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or safety items
were observed.

part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Ecgulations, a ecpy of this letter
