Dear Dr. Coughlin:
As requested in your letter to Mr. James G. Keppler, dated May 31, 1979, attached is one copy of Inspection Procedures utilized in the inspection of plant operations and preoperational testing programs for nuclear facilities.
Please note that Sections 1 and 3 of the procedures are included but Section 2 is not.
Section 2 of the procedures are the details of sample size and specific requirements which have not been placed in the Public Document Room.
In addition, while these are the current copies at the present time, we will not attempt to maintain or provide to you updated copies as they occur.
When our inspection of your preoperational testing program begins, we will discuss this subject in more detail with you and your staff.
