This refers to the rout ine safety inspection conducted by Dr. W. J. Adam and Mr. J. Mullauer of this office on January 6, 1981, of activities at Pelton
:: e el, Inc. aathorize i by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 48-02669-02 and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. John L. Sirna at the conclu-sion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examinat ion of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation rafet y and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
During this inspec' ion, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A, and a written response is required.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
