Thank you for your 1cteer of July 24, 1979, in response to our letter dated June 28, 1979. As a result of our review, we find that additional information, as discussed with your Mr. J. W. Finnegan during a telephone call on Septe=ber 5, 1979, is needed. Specifically, please provide a description of steps that have been or will be taken to correct the practice of the Disposition Control Officer's acceptance of "use as is" material without explicit Engineering approval. Also, provide a descrip-tion of steps that have been or will be taken to prevent recurrence of acceptance without explicit Engineering approval.
Please provide this additional informacion within twenty (20) days in order that we may complete our review in a timely manner.
