Dear Mr. Seyfrit:
The Omaha Public Power District received IE Bulletin 79-06 C, dated July 26, 1979, regarding the operation of reactor coolant pumps after initia-tion of an accident.
In order to address the concerns of items 2 and 3 (short term actions) and item 1 (long term actions) of the Bulletin, the District has participated in a Combustion Engineering User's Group. Accord-ingly, a response to these items was provided on behalf of the Usc 's Group to the Conmission in a letter, dated August 29,1979 from f1r. G. Liebler, which included the report CENPD-ll5-P.
In response to item 4 (short term actions) the District is currently evd-uating emergency procedures and licensed reactor operatc;- training as re-lated to our response to the aforementioned items.
Implementation of revised procedures and training will depend upon the Staff's evaluation of our re-ponse.
