Dear Mr. Keppler:
As was reported in Reference (a), defects identified in the LaSalle County ventilation stack has led to the re-evalua ion and modification of the stack.
Attached for your inforiation is a comprehensive summary of the inr faction, testing and design evaluation conducted by Sargent & Luncy with Commonwealth Edison to resolve the deficienc, "dentified.
As is indicated in the attached report, a permanent repair will be implemented to restore the 'lesign basis capacity of the stack.
This work was initiated in August, 1979 and is expected to bt completed by May, 1980.
