The Office of the Controller of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been authorized to refund fees totalling $4,000 transmitted for your application dated September 25,1978 (TS 118) relating to refueling outage for Browns Ferry 2.
By your wire transfer dated September 27 you paid $400 and a som of $3,600 was included in Check No. 75,088,061 dated December 14, 1978.
The refund is being made because tha Huclear Reactor Regulation staff has advised us that your September 25 application was withdrawn and no review was ex-pended by them on it.
The refund is being processed by the Office of the Controller and will be sent to your company as soon as possible.
