Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
On August ?4,1979, a report was made under the orovisions of 10CFR50.54(e) c'ncerning indications fouad in feedwat?r lines Sv radict mnhv required by I.E. Bulletin 79 1.3.
On August ?9. !c7c, we submitted 3 five day letter (Seri31 No. 711.) in accordance with the r? porting requi"8:Enenti o#

'Je indica +ad in our five day letter that 52 welds +ere radio v aoSed in August. This number should he cor-ected to E9.
Our five iay letter detailed tSe problem and the corrective action taken for all indications found except weld SW-?7 on line 1.6" WFPD-424-601-02. We have nw completed ultrasonic examination with longitudinal and shear waves on SW-27; no rejectable indications were found, and no repair work is rMuired.
Thus, we have determined that ncne of the radiaqrachic indications found represents a significant deficiency or 3 substantial safety hazard.
