The Office of the Controller of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been authorized to refund fees totalling $2,000 which were transmitted by your wire transfer dated March 19, 1979, for your application dated March 15, 1979.
The application was for amendments to Licenses DPR-33, -52, and -68 for Browns Ferry 1, 2, and 3 to permit transfer of fuel assemblies to an authorized receiver.
The refund is deemed appropriate because the Nuclear Reactor Regulation review staff has advised us that the amendments are not required, and the application is being treated as having been withdrawn with no review involved.
The refund is being processed by the Office of the Controller and will be sent to your company as soon as possible.
