Dear Mr. Wright:

This :s in response to your letter dated August 5,1979, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, information concerning the operation of experimental atomic devices and storage of atomic material and wastes on or near the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, Idaho.

The NRC does not have any documents subject to your request.

Under Section 274 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, the NRC entered into an agreement with the State of Idaho whereby Idaho, as an Agreement State, assumed regulatory responsibility over byproduct, source, and small quantities of special nuclear material.

In the State of Idaho you should contact Mr. Robert Funderburg, Supervisor of Radiation Control Section, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, State House, Boise, Idaho 83720.
