IE Bulletin 79-11 Docket Mos. 50-361 and 50-362 San Onof re Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3 Your letter of May 22, 1979 forwards IE Bulletin 79-11, " Faulty Overcurrent Trip Device in Circuit Breakers for Engineered Safety Systems" and requests information concerning the extent of use of certain circuit breakers at San Onofre Units 2 and 3.

It has bean determined that none of the subject circuit breakers (Westinghouse Model DB-50 and DB-75) are in use, planned for use, or in spares at San Onofre Units 2 and 3.

Add i ti ona l ly, our A/E has been instructed to ensure the subject breakers are not purchased in the future.
