DEGRADED GRID VOLTAGE - ZION UNIT NOS.1 AND 2 Based upon our review of your submittal dated July 27, 1977 we find that additional information is needed.
Spectfically, your basis (that the probability of occurrence of grid voltage level low enough to result in i
equipment failure is very low) for not proposing a second level undervoltage protection is unacceptable.
Hence, we require that you provide your proposed design modification and changes in the Technical Specifications based on the guidance contained in the staff positions submitted to you by letter dated June 3,1977.
It is requested that you provide the information identified above within 45 days of the date of this letter.
