This report is being submitted pursuant to the requirement of 10CFR70.59(a)(1),

Effluent Monitoring Reporting Requirements, for facilities n the Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC) operated under License SMM-960.

However, due to the complexity of the VNC site and the use of a s:n~'.e 1;;9td effluent discharge point, it is not possible to differentiate between liquid effluent generated by License SNM-960 activitit s and those resulting from acti-vities conducted under our State of California ry-prodcct/ source material license or our test and research reactor license.

Sin f arly, no differentiation can be made between gaseous effluents generated b; S:lMn30 and our California by-product source material license.

The quantities listed below are for the cal &dar period July 1,1978 through December 31, 1978.
