The purpose of this letter is to transmit for your information an increment of the analysis of the effects of natural phenomena relative to the plutonium fabrication operations at your Santa Susana site. The subject increment of analysis is a seismic risk analysis applicable to the geographic area around your facility. A draft of the enclosure has been reviewed, and commented upon, by those analysts who require the ~ resu.ts to carry out succceding analyses and by I;RC staff. The fiRC staff has adopted this final version of the review for application in succeeding analyses. However, we will consider challenge of our position when supported by credible technical bases.
