Dear Mr. Bukaty:
This letter is to acknowledge receipt of your petition for an order directed to Kansas Gas & Electric Company to show cause wny construction work should not be suspended at the Wolf Creek Generating Station and the construction permit not be revoked.
Your request for action is similar to ones received from other Kansas citizens and groups.
Because of this similarity, your petition has been consolidated with that received from Critical Mass Energy Project and others for considera-tion under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's regulations, and appropriate action will be taken within a reasonable time.
A separate Federal Register Notice will not be made because of the consclidation.
Notice of these petitions may be found in 44 Federal Register 6535 (February 1, 1979).
Another petition filed by the Mid-America Coalition for Energy Alternatives may be found in 44 Federal Register 10445 (February 20, 1979).
Copies of the petitions are available for inspection in the local public document room in the Coffey (,ounty Courthouse, Burlington, Kansas 66839.
