The inspection was made to review fabrication of steam generators for the Duke Pcver Cc=pany (Oconee plants) and the Florida Pcver Corporat'z t (Cr/stal River plant).
On the basis or cur observations and record exa inations, we believe the steam gener. ior units being =anufactured by E&W vill be satis-factor / for service. Ecvever, during the inspection our inspector identified four itens of nonconf smance with the applicable ASME Cedes which require corrective action. These ite=s relate to the qualification of velders to Navy rather than ASE require =ents and irregularities in the qualification and use of velding procedures.
We plan to e-micate with the respective licensees concerning the correction of these deficiencies and vill follev up en them as nee-essary. We also plan to continue periodic inspections of the Barberten facility.
