20555 June 25, 1979 IE Bulletin No. 79-13 CRACKING IN FEEDWATER SYSTEM PIPING Description of Circunatances:
Indiana and Michigan n'ower Company notified the NRC of On May 20, 1979, their D. C. Cook Unit 2 facility. Re cracking in two feedvater lines at cracking was discovered f ollowing a shutdown on May 19 to investigate leakage identified in the inside c ontainment. Leaking circumferential cracks were to two stes= generator nozzle elbov velds.
