Dear Mr. Reed:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 50 to Facility Operating License DPR-39 and Amendment No. 47 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-48 for Zion Station, Unit Nos. I ar.d 2, respectively.
The amendments consist of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application of February 26, as supplemented May 11, 1979 and are in response to our letter of August 28, 1978.
These amendments modify the Technical Specification pressure-temperature operating limits for Zion Station Units 1 and 2 to meet the requirements of Appendix G to 10 CFR 50.
Copies of our Safety Evaluation and the Federal Register Notice related to these amendments are also enclosed.
