" Incorrect Weights for Swing Check Valves Manuf actured by Velan Engineering Corporation", and describes instances of potentf ally incorrect piping stress analyses for those systets utilizing Velan suing cht valves due to a discrepancy between the valve weights describen >u design drawings and the actual weights supplied.
Please be advised that a review of all project documentation was performed and it has been determined that Velan has not supplied, nor are they schcduled to supply, the subject valves for use at San Onofre Units 2 and 3. As such, the specific actions identified in the bulletin are not ap,.licable to this project.
