This letter is to provide the current status of the Omaha Public Power District's effort to resolve the concerns of IE Bulletin 78-123, dated March 19, 1979 Our reactor vessel manufacturer, combustion En-gineering, Inc. (CE), is currently engaged in perforning the records search requested by IE Bulletin 78-12 (as modified by Supplerents73-12A and 78-123).

They plan to subnit a generic report directly to tae IiRC covering all reactor vessels manufactured by CE before June 8,1979 The District vill then reference the generic report in its final res-ponse which should be submitted on or before June 29, 1979 Sincerely,
