Dear Mr. Burstein:

We have completed our review of your letter of March 14, 1977, wherein you provided an analysis of the radiological consequences of a postulated fuel handling accident inside containment at Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos. I and 2.

Based on our review, we have concluded that the potential consequences of this postulated accident are appropriately within the exposure guidelines of 10 CFR Part 100 and are therefore acceptable.

A copy of our Saftty Evaluation is enclosed.
