We have completed our review of the " Security Guard Training and Qualification Plan for Exxon Nuclear Mixed Oxide and Specialty Fuels Plant," which was trans-mitted to us by your letter of Februar, 20, 1979. On the basis of this review, we have determined nat your submission will be acce? table after minor modifi-ca ti o n. You should note, however, that your plan will have to be amended to provide for training in weapons other than handguns should the Upgrade Rule be adopted by the Commission.
Please revise your plan a s indicated by the enclosure to this letter and furnish six ccpies of your revis:1 plan for our final acceptance review within 30 days.
We have determined that the enclosure to your letter of February 20,1979, con-tains information of a t;. 'e specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d).
Accordingly, it is deemed to be commercial or financial information within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be subject to disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.

d Cocket No. 70-1257 License No. SNM-1227 ENCLOSURE Comments on Security Guard Training and Qu tiification Plan Page 3.8, Section 3.5 Cocumenta tion Please add a commitment in this section to maintain records of the certification of annual requalifications to include physical, mental and weapon testing.
Section 4.0 Traininc and Requalification Please indicate that requalification of security personnel shall be accomplished at least every 12 months. To 2ssure adequate performance of assigned security related job tasks and duties, all security personnel shall demonstrate acquired proficiency through examination.
Saecify a schedule showing how all security personnel will be qualified and trained within the designated time.
