USE OF ASME CODE CASE N-242 01 THE SNUIPS PLANTS By letter, dated June 1,1979, from Mr Nicholas A. Petrick to Dr. Harold R. Denton, you requested our ccncurrence to use ASME Code Case, fl-242, " Materials Certification,Section III, Division 1, Class 1, 2, 3, MC, and CS Component Support Construction", on the SNUPPS plants.
We have reviewed your request and conclude that Code Case N-242 is acceptaile for use on the SNUPPS plants subject to the condition that you identify, in the FSAR, the components and supports requiring the use of paragraphs 1.0 through 4.0 of the corie case.
