Re: RII:JP0 50-250, 50-251 IE Bulletin 78-12, 12 A , 12B The Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) report " Records Investigation Report Related to Off-Chemistry Welds in Material Surveillance Specimens and Response to IE Bulletin 78-12 and 78-12A", which was submitted by B&W to the NRC on March 13,1979, has been endorsed by Westinghouse as applicable to the Turkey Point Unit 3 weld materials. Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) letter L-77-326 of October 21, 1977 and information provided to the NRC staff at an April 7,1977 meeting are also related to reactor vessel ma teri als . FPL is satisfied that the above mentioned information adequately represents data for the Turkey Point reactor vessels. We are also willing to supply additional infonnation, if you feel this is necessary.
