NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF 1MENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amend. rent No. C6 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-57 issued to Georgia Power Company, Oglethorpe Electric Membership Carporation, Municipal Electric Association of Georgia, and : '
of Dalton, Georgia, which revised Technical Specifications for operat'.on of the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Unit No.1 (the facility) located in Appling County, Georgia.
The amendment is effective as of its date of issuanci.
Tais amendment revises the Technical Specifications to allow the count rate Source Range Monitor channels to drop below 3 counts per second when o
on the entire core is removed or reloaded.
The application for t;c amendment complies with the standards ar.d requirements of the Atomic. Energy Act of 1954, as anended (the Act), and the Commission's 1
rules and regulctions.
The Commission has made appropriate findings at t
f required by the Act and the Commission's rJ1es and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
