This refers to the inspection conducted by MJ.
N.
E. DuBry of this
office on May 14-17, 1979, of activities at University of Sussouri
Research Reactor authorized by NRC Operating License No. R-103 and
to the discussion of our findings with members of the facility staf f
at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined
during the inspection.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted
of a selective examination of procedures and representative records,
observations, and interviews with personnel.
No itens of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified
during the course of this inspection.
Based on discussions with your representatives at the site we under-
stand that by June 30, 1979, you will calculate the amount of tritium
being released frot the secondary system te the sanitary sewer during
blowdown of the secondary system, will include it in the FY 1976-1979
effluent report, and will revise previous effluent reports as necessary.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,'
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this
letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the
NRC's Public Document Room, except as follows.
