Dear Mr. Engelken:
In response to the subject lE Bulletins, UPPSS has requested our reactor vessel manufacturer for WNP-3/5, Combustion Engineering, Inc.,
to perform a records search as requested by the subject Bulletins.
CE has informed us that they plan to submit a generic report to the NRC covering all reactor vessels manufactured by CE.
CE will also certify to us the applicability of the report to the reactor vessels for the WNP-3/5 plants.
We will reference the generic report in our final response to the Bulletins.
The generic report will be submitted to the NRC by CE on or before August 13, 1979.
