" Unexpected lill in English Sheep" we received from Dr. L. Van Middlesworth of the University of Tennessee at Memphis.

The note was submitted to Science magazine for publication consideration on May 15, 1979.
In the paper Dr. Van Middlesworth discusses his recent research results of analyzing for 131I in cow and human thyroids obtained from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Memphis, Tennessee and in sheep thyroids obtained from Bimingham, England.
