Enclosed is a document entitled "SEP Review of Safe Shutdown Systems for the Haddam Neck Plant", which contains draft evaluations for SEP Topics V-10.B, V-11.B, VII-3, and X.
Other Topics (V.11-A and IX-3) are also addressed to the extent necessary to assess the functional adequacy of the safe shutdown systems.
You are requested to examine the facts upon which the staff has based its evaluations and respond either by confirming that the facts are correct, or by identifying any errors.
In addition, you are requested to fill in all the blank spaces which appear in the evaluation.
If in error, please supply corrected information for the docket. We encourage you to supply for the docket any other r rial related to these topics that might affect the staff's evaluation Your response within 30 days of the date you receive this letter is requested.
