The staff of the California Public Utilities Ccemission submits the fc11cwing corrections to its comments concerning the Draf t Environmental Statement (CES).
On page 13 the present item 7 should be deleted and replaced with the follow-ing:
"7.) Costs of Decommissionine the Power Plants--The EES fails to specify the bacis for the cost estimates for the nuclear and coal alternatives power plant decommissioning activities."
On page 13 item S should be deleted and replaced by:
"8. ) Costs of Waste Discosal--The LES fails to specify whether its cost estimates for the coal and nuclear alternatives include the "back-end" costs associated with each fuel type."
